This silk hand-woven carpet was woven in the Kashmir region, located near the border between northern India and northeastern Pakistan. Compared to Persian silk hand-woven carpets, it has a warm, calm, vintage-like feel with an overall yellowish tint.
Both the warp and weft are made of silk, giving the fabric its unique luster and smooth feel.
The designs combine intricate geometric patterns and gorgeous floral motifs, with warm colours standing out.
With dimensions of approximately 216cm x 309cm, it is suitable for spacious spaces such as large living rooms and conference rooms and its beauty is enhanced when combined with wooden or dark furniture.
