This is a Lion Gabbeh from Shiraz .
It is made from the finest wool, which is of higher quality than regular Gabbeh, and has a tightly woven, fine Kashkuri quality.
In the center is a majestic depiction of a lion with the sun behind it and a curved sword in its hand.
Its expression is somewhat humorous, and the beard around its face is woven in colorful colors, giving a sense of the weaver's playfulness.
