This is a handwoven Persian rug crafted at the Dabari Workshop in Isfahan.
Featuring a soft beige base, this piece is characterized by a beautiful gradient of blue.
With a classic design inspired by mosque ceilings, the central medallion and the border are adorned with delicate floral motifs, meticulously woven down to the finest details.
The use of silk in the warp and patterns allows it to shimmer beautifully in the light. The pile is short and densely woven, crafted from soft cork wool sourced from the neck to the chest of lambs, resulting in a smooth texture.
Handwoven rugs exhibit a directional flow of the fibers known as “nap,” which alters the appearance of color depending on the laying direction. You can observe this color variation in the second and third photos, so please take a look.

Isfahan rugs are distinguished by their use of "kork wool," a fine and soft wool taken from the neck of young lambs. This high-quality material offers both durability and resistance to dirt. Traditional motifs such as medallions—often inspired by mosque domes—and intricate arabesque (Eslimi) designs are commonly featured, reflecting the deep artistic heritage of Persian craftsmanship.
