These are hand-woven silk carpets produced in the Kashmir region, near the border between northern India and northeastern Pakistan.
These carpets are made with silk in both warp and weft and are of very high quality. Persian silk carpets are characterised by their vibrant colours, whereas Kashmir carpets have a slightly yellowish tinge and a warm vintage feel.
The carpet has a beautiful luster and a smooth feel that is unique to silk. The weaving method varies depending on the location and material, but the characteristic of this carpet is the weaving method that connects the warp and weft threads, and it uses 24 threads per square inch, making it of very high quality.

Please note the following points to keep the product in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient to maintain your carpet. Be sure to vacuum gently in the direction of the pile, avoiding the tufts.
- If you spill liquid, pat the surface with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture, but be careful not to rub.
- To maintain its color and luster, lightly wipe it in the direction of the fur with a tightly wrung towel once a year.
