Because it is of fine quality, it is woven more tightly and is thinner than regular Gabbeh.
The base color is a soft, natural hue made from undyed, natural wool. This adorable piece features colorful mountain people and camels. It has both grain and counter-grain, so the color changes depending on which way you look at it.

Persian Gabbeh rugs are traditional carpets handwoven by nomadic tribes in southwestern Iran. Known for their thick, fluffy texture—resembling the feel of stroking a sheep—they are made from high-quality wool.
