This is a hand-woven silk carpet from Kashan, Iran.
An elegant and calm color combination.
There is a medallion in the center and intricate arabesque patterns woven into it that radiate outwards.
Because it is silk, it feels incredibly smooth to the touch and has a beautiful luster.
Hand-woven carpets have a direction in which the fibers flow, called with the grain and against the grain, and the way the shades of color appear changes depending on the direction in which they are laid.

- To maintain its color and luster, lightly wipe it in the direction of the fur with a tightly wrung towel once a year.
