A hand-woven Persian Gabbeh rug made in the Shiraz region of Persia.
The carpet is approximately 85cm x 130cm in size and features a loose, pencil-drawn lion woven into the centre.
All parts except for the red eyes are made from undyed natural wool, giving it the gentle, soft texture of natural wool.
The tassels on the four corners add a touch of handcraftedness, making it a great accent piece in your living room or office, or to hang on the wall.

A Lion Gabbeh is a type of rug woven by the nomadic Qashqai people of southwestern Iran, characterized by its distinctive lion-themed design. The lion has long been used as a symbol of strength and wisdom.
