This is a Persian Gabbeh, hand-woven in the Shiraz region of Persia. Made using traditional techniques unique to this region, Gabbehs have captivated people all over the world with their unique texture and beautiful designs.
"Gabbeh" refers to hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai people, and is characterized by its softness, which feels like stroking a sheep. This softness comes from carefully weaving the carpets over a long period of time, and the more you use it, the more you will grow to love it.
