This is a hand-woven carpet made in Afghanistan.
This carpet has a textured finish called sumack weave, and the natural off-white color part visible in the center is a plain weave with no pile (length of fibers) and a clean texture, while the other parts are carpet woven with pile and a soft, fluffy feel.
In addition, the border parts on both ends are kilim ends.
