This is a hand-woven Persian Gabbeh rug made in the Shiraz region of Persia.
Gabbeh is a carpet woven by the Qashqai people, and is characterized by its fluffy texture that feels like stroking a sheep.
The base colour is a beautiful green gradation that makes you feel like you are in a forest, and the adorable design features deer and camels facing each other in a friendly manner within green and light green borders, with yellow and blue flower fields woven in.
The natural-colored frame features deer and trees woven into a green square in the middle, making it a piece that is pleasant to look at.
