This is a hand-woven kilim made in Afghanistan.
The simple off-white wool fabric is embroidered with coconut trees bearing many nuts. This kilim is densely woven and has a very soft finish, making it light to the touch like linen, and can be used comfortably all year round.
It is the perfect size for a two-seater sofa and can be used not only as a floor covering, but also as a wall hanging or sofa cover.
It can be used in a wide range of styles, from natural modern to ethnic.
