This hand-woven carpet was woven in Lahore , Punjab, Pakistan. The base color is a soft beige, and the entire carpet features a delicate geometric pattern woven throughout. It consists of a continuous diamond pattern, surrounded by smaller patterns.
The smooth texture of the wool and the white silk create a three-dimensional effect, and the fabric is soft to the touch without being itchy. The colors are a perfect combination of calm, warm brown, beige, blue, and accent black, making it suitable for a variety of interiors.
The edges of the carpet are decorated with intricate geometric patterns, and the intricate designs created by hand by artisans increase the carpet's value.
Carpets have a grain and a counter-grain, and the shade of the color changes depending on the direction that it is laid, so please compare photos 3 and 4.
