This is a hand-woven tribal rug made by the Baluchi people of Afghanistan.
It has a beautiful balance of beige and deep red, and is decorated with detailed, continuous geometric patterns.
The pile is kept short, giving the rug a clean look and making it easy to match with a variety of interior styles.
Due to the grain and counter-grain flow that is unique to hand-woven carpets, the color changes depending on the direction in which the rug is laid, which further enhances the rug's charm.
