This is a luxurious hand-woven Persian carpet woven in Isfahan , Persia.
Isfahan is one of the five major centres of Persian carpet production.
The design features a medallion in the center, surrounded by a traditional pattern known as the Eslim pattern.
Carpets from Isfahan are made using cork wool, a type of fine, soft wool from around the neck of lambs, and are characterized by their durability and resistance to dirt.
Silk is woven into the shiny white parts of the carpet, giving the pattern a three-dimensional look that further enhances the luxurious feel.
