This is a handwoven rug made in Afghanistan.
Featuring a calming blue base color, this piece intricately weaves charming animals, flowers, and the tree of life.
Crafted using the beautiful long-haired Ghazni wool from the Ghazni region of Afghanistan, this rug is entirely handmade from the spinning of the yarn.
Additionally, it is primarily dyed using natural plant dyes, resulting in a captivating finish with color variations known as Abrash, which occur when natural dyes like madder and indigo are added to undyed wool.
(*Abrash refers to the gradation that naturally occurs when different colors of natural dye are applied to undyed wool.)
The pile is cut short to ensure a refreshing texture, making it comfortable to use throughout the year.
With dimensions of 178cm x 234cm, it is the perfect size for a living room or dining room.

- If you spill liquid, pat the surface with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture, but be careful not to rub.
- To maintain its color and luster, lightly wipe it in the direction of the fur with a tightly wrung towel once a year.
