This is a handwoven Persian Gabbeh made in the Shiraz region of Iran.
Gabbeh refers to rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, characterized by their thickness and a fluffy texture that feels like stroking a sheep.
One piece depicts a camel looking up at the sky against the backdrop of a sunset dyed in shades of madder red.
The framework showcases the natural texture without any dyeing.
