This is a hand-woven Persian Gabbeh rug made in the Shiraz region of Iran.
Gabbeh is a hand-woven carpet made by the Qashqai people.
This Gabbeh has a lion motif.
The lion's body is made of undyed natural wool, which leaves the wool in its natural color without dyeing it, giving it a soft texture that is a mixture of brown, yellow, ivory, etc.
The base is a beautiful blue color with different shades of blue, which tightens up the overall design.
It is a small size among Lion Gabbehs, making it ideal as an accent piece in your room.
