This is a handwoven Persian rug made in the Shiraz region of Iran.
A vibrant rug that seems to echo with footsteps. It is said to be inspired by the guardians of Persepolis, featuring striking colors and patterns.
As a runner type, it has an elongated shape. The unique texture of this rug combines flat-woven kilim (without pile) and pile-woven carpet (with pile), creating a distinctive three-dimensional feel.
It is perfect for laying on the floor, but also highly recommended for hanging on the wall.
