Persian Gabbeh rugs are traditional carpets handwoven by nomadic tribes in southwestern Iran. Known for their thick, fluffy texture—resembling the feel of stroking a sheep—they are made from high-quality wool. Kashkuli refers to the highest quality Persian Gabbeh rugs, woven by the most skilled artisans among the Qashqai tribe. Known for their exceptionally high knot density, Kashkuli rugs feature intricate patterns and fine details that set them apart from standard Gabbeh rugs.
