This hand-knotted carpet is of fine quality and was woven in Lahore , Punjab, Pakistan.
The design is based on a vibrant red color with eye-catching contrasts of green and yellow, and features a traditional Jardin pattern.
At the centre of each pattern is a delicate floral motif in blue, white and green.
The fine borders surrounding the piece tighten the overall design and create an elegant atmosphere.
It measures approximately 77cm x 125cm, making it the perfect size to use as an accent rug for your entryway or living room.
Made from high-quality wool from New Zealand, it has 12 warp threads and 24 weft threads tightly knotted per square inch, giving it a short, dense pile that is soft to the touch and intricately patterned.
