This handwoven Persian Gabbeh is crafted in the Shiraz region of Persia.
Being of fine quality, it uses superior wool compared to standard Gabbeh, resulting in a densely woven texture.
The base color features a gradient of red.
A large tree of life with a box-shaped ornament is intricately woven in the center, showcasing a rare design. Peeking into the box reveals motifs of deer, small birds, and pomegranates.
The high-quality wool is soft and cushioned, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer, making it suitable for year-round use.
Handwoven carpets have a directional flow of the fibers, known as 'with nap' and 'against nap', which affects the visibility of color shades depending on the laying direction.
