These are hand-woven silk carpets made in the Kashmir region, which borders northern India and northeastern Pakistan.
The predominant colour is a smooth blend of beige, orange and pink, with landscapes, plants and intricately woven flowers.
It feels incredibly smooth to the touch and has a beautiful shine that is sure to captivate.
This hand-woven carpet has a different pile direction, that is, upwind and downwind, and the depth of color varies depending on the direction it is laid in. Therefore, please compare the second and third photos.
While Persian handwoven silk rugs are vibrant in colour, Kashmiri rugs generally have a yellowish hue and a warm, vintage feel.

Please note the following points to keep the product in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient to maintain your carpet. Be sure to vacuum gently in the direction of the pile, avoiding the tufts.
- If you spill liquid, pat the surface with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture, but be careful not to rub.
- To maintain its color and luster, lightly wipe it in the direction of the fur with a tightly wrung towel once a year.
