This rug is a handwoven piece crafted in Ghazni, located in southeastern Afghanistan.
It is made from long fibers (Ghazni wool) harvested from sheep raised in Afghanistan's harsh mountainous climate.
The rug features a unique thickness and dense weaving technique, providing excellent insulation and durability. It is dyed with natural colors, showcasing various shades of brown. The alternating patterns create a distinctive natural gradient.
