This carpet is hand-woven in Lahore , Punjab, Pakistan. It has a deep rose pink base color and features a beautiful geometric pattern, which is characteristic of Pakistani carpets.
In addition, silk is woven into the sparkling white parts to give the pattern a three-dimensional look, and the fabric is smooth, soft to the touch and not itchy.
Hand-woven carpets have a different direction of the pile, called with the grain or against the grain, and the color tone changes depending on the direction in which the carpet is laid. You can see the color change by comparing the second and third photos.
The size is perfect for the entrance, in front of a single chair, under a small table, or next to a bed.
