This is a hand-woven carpet made in Afghanistan. This carpet is made from Ghazni wool taken from sheep living in the Ghazni region, and everything from spinning the yarn is done by hand.
The base color, composed of shades of brown and beige, gives a calm impression.
The design features border patterns of various widths, and the variations in width make for an eye-catching design.
It is dyed with natural dyes , and the uneven coloring (abrash) that is unique to natural dyed wool gives it an attractive finish. *Abrash refers to the natural gradation that occurs when natural dyes such as madder or indigo are added to the color of undyed wool.

Regular vacuuming is all you need to keep your rug in good condition. Be sure to vacuum gently in the direction of the pile, avoiding the fringes. If you spill any liquid, blot it immediately with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Once a year, lightly wipe the rug with a well-wrung towel, following the direction of the pile.
