This is a hand-woven silk Persian carpet woven in Qom, located about 100 km south of the Persian capital, Tehran.
The base color is a mix of deep green and light blue, with a medallion pattern woven in gold silk in the center.
Because it is silk, it feels enchantingly smooth to the touch and has a beautiful, elegant luster that brings out the patterns and colors.
