This handwoven Persian rug made of silk is crafted in Qom, located about 100 kilometers south of Tehran, the capital of Persia. It was woven at the Imani Workshop.
Featuring a beautiful lapis lazuli color that blends deep purple and rich blue, this piece showcases intricate Islimi patterns depicted countless times within and around the medallion design.
The chic design allows the Islimi patterns woven in white thread to stand out against the lapis lazuli background.
The unique sheen and color variations typical of Persian rugs enhance its elegance, with turquoise blue woven in as an accent color throughout.
