This handwoven Persian rug made of silk is crafted in Qum, located about 100 kilometers south of Tehran, the capital of Persia.
Featuring a bright pink base, the rug incorporates symmetrical garden motifs inspired by trees, birds, ponds, and flowers.
In arid regions, plants, birds, and water symbolize abundance and paradise, and combined with the predominant pink color, it evokes the joyful arrival of spring.
