This carpet was woven in Lahore , a city in the Punjab province of Pakistan.
The design is subtly patterned with tiny diamonds, creating an all-over pattern that is subtle yet beautiful.
This hand-woven carpet has two sides, with different hair directions, "with the grain" and "against the grain." The carpet's unique feature is that its color can become darker or lighter depending on the direction it is laid. Viewing the carpet from different angles is a great way to check the color differences. Please take a look at the photos to compare them.
The carpet is extremely smooth and soft to the touch, making it very comfortable to walk on barefoot.
