This is a Persian Gabbeh carpet, hand-woven in the Shiraz region of Persia.
Gabbeh refers to the traditional hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai people .
A vibrant red colour dominates this carpet.
In the center is a lion surrounded by deer and trees.
