This carpet is a Persian carpet with a distinctive square shape, hand-woven at the Musavi workshop in Qom , Persia.
The design was inspired by the beautiful patterns found on the ceilings inside mosques, with eye-catching tile-like geometric patterns radiating from the center.
The fringe is dyed an antique ecru color.
Hand-woven carpets have a "with grain" and a "against grain" direction of the pile, and the way the color appears changes depending on the direction in which it is laid. Please take a look at the third and fourth photos to see the difference.
