This is a hand-woven Persian carpet made at the Musabi Atelier in Qom , Persia.
There is a medallion in the center, and arabesque patterns are woven in detail outward. Flowers are also woven into the outer frame, making this a gorgeous piece.
Its beautiful luster makes the elegant purple and blue hues stand out even more.
Also, the way the color of a hand-woven carpet looks changes depending on the direction of the pile, called grain or counter-grain. (See images 2 and 3)
