This is a hand-knotted Persian carpet woven in Qom , Iran.
It is woven in gorgeous colors with a wine red base.
It features a medallion in the center and intricate arabesque patterns woven into it that spread out to the outside, creating a beautiful contrast between the wine red and navy.
As these items are handwoven by skilled artisans, no two designs are the same.
