This is a handwoven natural kilim made in Afghanistan. It features a traditional rustic design characterized by a central diamond pattern surrounded by a border.
All processes are carried out by hand, using undyed wool to highlight the natural colors of the wool.
The rug is woven using a technique known as flat weave. Since it has no pile, the same design is woven on both sides, resulting in a reversible finish.
