This is a handwoven Persian Smack Kilim made in Shiraz, Persia.
The base color is a vibrant hue that blends orange and red.
Inspired by a garden, this piece features various types of flowers and vases woven into multiple squares.
The Smack Kilim has an embroidered-like texture. The flat weave technique typically involves weaving the weft threads through the warp threads, but this piece employs a Smack technique, intertwining an additional decorative thread while weaving. This method requires more time and effort compared to a standard kilim.
Crafted from high-quality wool, this piece is intricately woven with great attention to detail. It has a lightweight feel and a refreshing texture.
