This is a hand-woven carpet made in Afghanistan.
We use Ghazni wool, which is found in the Ghazni region of Afghanistan, and spin the yarn by hand.
The wool is mainly dyed with plant dyes , and the uneven color called "abrash" that can only be seen in plant-dyed wool is attractive. (*Abrash refers to the gradation that inevitably occurs when natural dyes such as madder and indigo are added to the color of undyed wool.)
This carpet has a beautiful blue base and is woven with plants and animals.
The pile is cut short so that it feels fresh against the skin and can be used comfortably all year round.
