These are high-quality Persian carpets hand-woven in Tabriz , northwestern Persia. Tabriz is the capital of East Azerbaijan Province and one of the most important cities in Persia.
This carpet is characterized by its elegant finish, which combines beauty and serenity. It is made of soft cork wool from lambs, and the intricate patterns are surrounded by white silk, giving the pattern a three-dimensional look.
The design is the traditional "Mahi" pattern, which means "fish" in Persian. The attention to detail makes this piece a true work of art. The weave is very fine and the pile is very durable.
