This hand-woven Persian carpet was woven in Tabriz , Persia.
It features a deep navy blue base color that is close to black. It has a beautiful, calm and elegant design, and is made from soft cork wool, which is extracted from lambs, with white silk used around the fine pattern to give it a three-dimensional look.
The design incorporates the traditional Mahi pattern, which means fish in Persian, and the white area between the carpet and the tassel is woven with floral patterns.
It is a rectangle measuring approximately 80cm x 200cm, and its runner-type design makes it suitable for narrow spaces such as in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or in a hallway.
