A Malaran carpet woven in Tabriz, Persia.
Malaran is a district located in the eastern part of Tabriz city, where many of the finest Tabriz carpets were once produced. Today, production is no longer in progress, making this carpet a rare find.
It is carefully designed down to the smallest detail, and if you look closely, you will notice that the central medallion is subtly woven with a heart motif. It is a design that has a casual playfulness to it within the traditional pattern.
In addition, it is tightly woven and highly durable, and has a firm feel to it. The more you use it, the more its texture improves.
The design is based on calm brown colors and is easy to match with modern interiors and chic furniture.
