This is a hand-woven carpet made in Lahore , Punjab, Pakistan.
The base color is a calm shade of beige. This carpet features a beautiful geometric pattern that is unique to Pakistani carpets.
The design is modeled after a Persian carpet with three medallions woven in the center.
The carpet is smooth, soft and comfortable to the touch. It is made from high-quality wool from New Zealand, giving it a silky sheen.
Hand-woven carpets have a different direction of the pile, called with the grain or against the grain, and the color tone changes depending on the direction in which the carpet is laid. You can see the color change by comparing the third and fourth photos.
