This is a handwoven rug made in Afghanistan, crafted using Ghazni wool sourced from the Ghazni region, with all processes done by hand from spinning the yarn.
The base color is a fresh green with a hint of yellow.
This piece features a modern design with beautiful arabesque patterns woven into the frame.
Handwoven rugs have a directional flow of the fibers, known as 'with the nap' and 'against the nap', which affects how the colors appear depending on the direction they are laid. Please compare the changes in color tones in photos 4 and 5.
