This is a handwoven rug made in Ghazni, a province in southeastern Afghanistan.
It features gentle colors derived from un-dyed natural wool, resulting in a modern design.
The wool from Ghazni comes from sheep raised in the harsh climate of the Afghan mountainous region, which contributes to its long and high-quality fibers. The wool is hand-spun and twisted using a spinning wheel to create the yarn used in the weaving process.
