This carpet is a Persian Kilim , hand-woven in Persia.
The base color is a gradation of green and yellow-green reminiscent of a grassland, with vibrant lime green adorning the whole piece.
The plain areas are flat woven, kilim style, with no pile, whilst the patterned areas have pile.
Across the top, a series of small rectangular panels feature a geometric pattern in blue, orange and black.
This kilim rug is approximately 112cm x 168cm in size and is suitable as an accent rug in the living room or as a bedside rug.
With its traditional techniques and bold colours, this rug is designed to complement modern furniture and bright coloured interiors.
