This is a Mashwani Kilim meticulously handwoven in Afghanistan.
The intricate geometric patterns are woven throughout, creating a striking piece with a powerful design.
The unique combination of flat weave (without pile) and pile weaving (with pile) results in a distinctive texture with depth and dimension. (You can see this in photos 3 to 6.)
This rug, which merges pile and kilim weaving, is more challenging to weave compared to standard kilims and requires advanced craftsmanship.
The texture is soft, allowing you to enjoy a vintage-like feel.
