This is a silk handwoven Persian rug made in Qom, located about 100 kilometers south of Tehran.
It features a deep wine red base with a “Heshti pattern” (panel design) characterized by numerous window frames. The window frames depict a lush garden with flowers and fountains intricately woven in.
