These kilim carpets are carefully handwoven by Afghan artisans.
The pop colours and geometric patterns make this a striking design.
The carpets are woven using a technique called flat weave , which means that because there is no pile, the same design is woven on both sides, making them reversible.
It features a geometric design and is highly durable due to its plain weave. It has a slightly stiff and refreshing feel.
The origins of kilims date back more than 8,000 years, when they were woven by women in Anatolia and Turkey, and kilim designs are said to be one of the oldest traditional designs.

Regular vacuuming is all you need to keep your rug in good condition. Be sure to vacuum gently in the direction of the pile, avoiding the fringes. If you spill any liquid, blot it immediately with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Once a year, lightly wipe the rug with a well-wrung towel, following the direction of the pile.
