This is a Persian rug from Mood.
The entire field is woven with the “Mahi” pattern.
The term “Mahi” derives from the Persian word for fish, as the small flowers are framed by a diamond shape, with leaves at the corners resembling fish.
The color palette features a central red hue, a calming indigo around the edges, and a bright ivory that combines beautifully, highlighting the elegance of the design.
With a size of 160 x 210cm, it is perfectly large enough to be placed in front of a sofa or at the center of a living room.
