This is a handwoven silk rug made in the Kashmir region, which stretches along the border of northern India and northeastern Pakistan.
While Persian silk rugs are characterized by their vibrant colors, Kashmir silk rugs have a warm, vintage-like ambiance with an overall yellowish hue.

The weaving technique varies depending on the region and material, but the main feature of handwoven rugs is the method of tying the weft threads to the warp threads.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
