Terms and Conditions of Use

Article 1 – Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") apply to the use of the online store "SATHI RUGS ONLINE STORE" operated by our company (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). They apply to all users (hereinafter referred to as the "User") who browse, purchase, or otherwise utilize the Service.

Article 2 – Use of the Service

  1. Users shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms and the separate Shopping Guide and other provisions stipulated by the Company.

  2. The Company reserves the right to change the contents of the Service without prior notice to the User, at the Company’s discretion.

  3. The Company may discontinue the provision of the Service at its discretion. In such cases, the Company will notify Users in advance by publishing the information on the website or through other appropriate means.

Article 3 – Member Registration

  1. Users may apply for membership registration in order to purchase products through the Service.

  2. Upon completing registration, Users will receive email newsletters with the latest news and promotional information from SATHI RUGS. Please configure your email settings to allow emails from info@sathirugs.com. Important notifications may also be sent via email. If you wish to unsubscribe, you may do so via the "Change Membership Information" page in your My Page.

  3. The Company may deny membership registration if it determines that the applicant has previously had their membership revoked for violating the Terms, has submitted false information, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate for registration.

  4. Membership is limited to individuals residing in Japan.

  5. If there are any changes to the User's registered information (such as address, name, phone number, or email address), the User must notify the Company through the method specified separately by the Company.

Article 4 – Suspension of Service and Cancellation of Membership
The Company may suspend the Service or cancel a User’s membership without prior notice if any of the following apply:
(1) The User is found to be non-existent or has impersonated another person during registration or use.
(2) The User was previously terminated for violating these Terms.
(3) There is a delay in payment or other breach of obligation related to the Service.
(4) The User commits any act prohibited in Article 6.
(5) The User is part of or associated with antisocial forces (such as organized crime groups or similar).
(6) The User violates any part of these Terms.

Article 5 – Withdrawal of Membership

  1. If a User wishes to withdraw their membership, they must submit a request through the method designated by the Company.

  2. The Company may retain the User's information for a certain period after withdrawal.

Article 6 – Prohibited Conduct
Users are prohibited from engaging in the following actions:
(1) Submitting false information during registration or use of the Service.
(2) Interfering with or potentially disrupting the operation of the Service.
(3) Fraudulently using credit cards.
(4) Illegally using or transferring login credentials.
(5) Causing trouble, loss, or damage to other Users, third parties, or the Company.
(6) Violating public order, morals, or laws.
(7) Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the Company.

Article 7 – Intellectual Property Rights

  1. All intellectual property rights—including copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, and publicity rights—related to text, images, videos, audio, and designs used in the Service belong to the Company or rightful owners. Users shall not infringe upon these rights.

  2. If a User causes a dispute with a rights holder or third party, the User shall resolve it at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any trouble or damage to the Company.

Article 8 – Management of IDs and Passwords

  1. Users are responsible for managing their own login ID and password.

  2. Users must strictly manage their credentials. The Company shall not be liable for any damages resulting from inappropriate management, misuse, or unauthorized use, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

  3. If a User suspects unauthorized use of their credentials, they must notify the Company immediately.

  4. Users acknowledge and accept the risks associated with transmitting credit card information and do so at their own responsibility.

Article 9 – User Information (Personal Information)

  1. The Company shall handle Users' personal information obtained through the use of the Service in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

  2. Users may update their personal information via their My Page.

  3. The Service may collect IP addresses and cookies for statistical analysis, not to identify individual users. Refusing cookies may result in limited access to the Service.

Article 10 – Product Purchase

  1. Users may purchase products through the Service.

  2. When purchasing, Users must follow the procedure specified by the Company.

  3. A sales contract between the User and the Company is established when the Company sends a confirmation email. After this point, cancellations cannot be made for personal reasons. However, the Company may contact the User or cancel the order if the order volume appears excessive.

  4. Product delivery is limited to addresses within Japan.

Article 11 – Termination of Contract

  1. The Company may terminate a sales contract in the following cases:
    (1) Violation of these Terms by the User.
    (2) Credit card authorization is declined.
    (3) The User is deemed financially unstable.
    (4) The product is out of stock and cannot be delivered promptly.
    (5) The product cannot be delivered due to unknown address or long absence.
    (6) The User cannot be contacted for identity verification.

  2. In addition to the above, if fraudulent or inappropriate behavior is suspected, the Company may cancel the contract or take other necessary action.

Article 12 – Management of Information

  1. The Company may delete user-generated content without notice if it:
    (1) Clearly infringes upon rights or damages reputation.
    (2) Is subject to a third-party complaint.
    (3) Violates laws.
    (4) Is ordered to be removed by authorities.
    (5) Is deemed inappropriate for service operation.

  2. The Company may block access to the Service without notice if deemed necessary.

Article 13 – Service Suspension
The Company may suspend all or part of the Service without notice in the following cases:
(1) Scheduled or emergency system maintenance.
(2) Fire, power outage, system failure, or external attacks.
(3) Natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, legal changes, government orders, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
(4) Other unavoidable circumstances.

Article 14 – Disclaimers

  1. The Company fulfills its notification obligations via registered email, website postings, or shipping to the specified delivery address.

  2. The Company is not liable for any damages resulting from Users being unable to use the Service.

  3. The Company is not liable for any loss or damage arising from causes beyond its control.

  4. Users are responsible for resolving any third-party disputes arising from their use of the Service.

  5. The Company is not liable after performing identity verification using its specified procedures.

  6. Users bear the cost of equipment and communication fees required for using the Service.

  7. Users must use the recommended browsers listed below; the Company accepts no responsibility for problems arising from other browsers.

Article 15 – Prohibition of Transfer

Article 17 – Changes to Terms

  1. These Terms may be revised if deemed necessary due to changes in services, laws, administrative guidelines, user needs, or business circumstances.

  2. The Company will publish any changes to these Terms on its website at least one month in advance (unless minor), including the effective date.

Article 18 – Governing Law
These Terms and any purchase contract shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Article 19 – Jurisdiction

  1. Any disputes between the User and the Company shall be resolved in good faith through consultation.

  2. If unresolved, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
