Nahavand carpets are made from fine, lustrous wool and feature unique patterns and designs. These durable carpets have linear designs, partly influenced by nomadic peoples. They often have a medallion in the center surrounded by motifs of leaves, flowers and branches. Vase designs are particularly popular. The colors are beautiful, mainly red and beige tones combined against a blue background.
